Current decision of the European Court of Human Rights: The publication of clandestine video recordings of non-prominent persons is justified by the freedom of the press, if the recordings relate to a matter relevant to a major public discourse, the focus of the report not on the person recorded, but on a substantive topic the video recordings are published in the context of truthful and journalistic care and ethics of corresponding reports, the face and voice of the filmed are alienated and the recording is not made in spaces whose identifiability enables identification.
